Thanks aclev. Good to see you back in action. Nice choice.
Yes, I haven't gone away, just been a busy few weeks. Just the task of compiling the Best of 2014 CDs list is time consuming itself. Too many great recordings to choose from...
Many thanks for both Watson-Lindberg albums, dear friends! Just new for me, excellent ones!
Le Petit Faucheux was a great place to see jazz in the 90's in Tours, France. Just a little room, with about 50-70 persons & the musicians with no amplification ! I saw Mal Waldron, Louis Sclavis, Charles Gayles here. Great memories. So I was very surprise to see Aclev posting this album. Are you liviing in Tours Aclev or did you find this music in your own country ?If you're interested I can post another album from a concert in Le Petit Faucheux : a Quator of Sax lead by JM Padovani. Let me know.
I could only hope to be living in Tours...but actually I live in New York, where it's a snowy morning.
How is it possible to find that in New York ! ?Should I upload Jean Marc Padovani at the Petit Faucheux ?Don't hope to live in Tours, we have a winter with no light and a sky on the roofs !! Better to be in Andalousia or Sicily
christophe, please upload this new performer for me, Jean Marc Padovani. I am very interested.
